Our Mission

Evidence-Based Practice

Science as Our Foundation

At BrainX, every tool and method is grounded in rigorous scientific evidence. We use clinical-grade assessment instruments to measure children’s attention performance objectively — ensuring training is guided by data and evidence, not subjective observation.

Our Attention-Informed Education approach identifies each child’s unique attention profile, enabling targeted strategies that unlock more effective and meaningful learning.

Neuroplasticity

The brain continuously reorganizes and strengthens through experience and training — this is the scientific foundation of everything we do at BrainX.

Through structured, targeted brain training, we support the development of neural networks associated with attention and executive function. We use research-validated tools and continuous assessment to track progress, and collaborate with universities to validate outcomes and refine our approach.

Student-Centric

Appreciating Individual Differences, Tailoring Education

Every child has distinct abilities, learning rhythms, and developmental needs. Through systematic assessment and ongoing observation, we identify each child’s unique profile — then design clear learning pathways with differentiated strategies tailored to their age, abilities, and needs. True personalised education starts with the child, not the curriculum.

Self-Development & Improvement (SDI)

SDI is a structured, strengths-based curriculum developed by a local school principal, covering self-awareness, emotional regulation, goal-setting, interpersonal skills, and self-reflection. Adapted to each child’s age and ability level, the program builds confidence, self-reflection, and emotional regulation — helping children thrive in both learning and life.

Research and Teaching Partnerships with Universities

Innovation stems from continuous exploration and strong collaboration between academic research and real-world teaching practice. Through partnerships with local universities, BrainX translates neuroscience and child development research into practical and testable educational interventions.

Since 2022, BrainX has collaborated with EdUHK on multiple research initiatives, including studies on ADHD brain activity using fNIRS technology, adolescent digital device usage, and exercise-based interventions for students with special educational needs (SEN).

These collaborations strengthen the scientific foundation of BrainX’s training programs while contributing practical insights and data to the academic community. We remain committed to transforming research into evidence-based strategies that support children and families with diverse learning needs.

Research Projects & Teaching Involved:

  • Research on NCT for Improving Attention, Emotional Regulation, and Executive Function in Children with ADHD (EdUHK, 2023)
  • Research on NCT and Non-Pharmacological Intervention on Children with ADHD and Their Parents (EdUHK, 2025)
  • The Hong Kong Jockey Club “School-Based Diversity” Program: Neurodiversity and Inclusive Education Series
  • Certificate Program for Parents/Caregivers on Supporting Youth with Diverse Learning Needs (The Education University of Hong Kong)

Creating Shared Value

Beyond promoting educational technology, BrainX is committed to social responsibility and actively supports initiatives for children and families. We believe technology and education should create meaningful and lasting impact, especially for underserved communities.

BrainX collaborates with funding bodies and charitable organizations to deliver evidence-based support programs that provide families with practical tools to support children’s learning and development.

Among these initiatives, the “Brain Empowerment: Empowering Minds, Strengthening Families” charity project received the Grand Award and “My Favorite Social Welfare Story” Award at the Connecting Hearts Competition 2025. The recognition reflects both the program’s effectiveness and the value of cross-sector collaboration in supporting children and families.
